Well it's hardly any news if it is Pepper Finance. A guy by the name of Damien Seaton posted on Pepper's LinkedIn page a month ago:

Yep, it is Pepper Finance. Their slogan is "Pepper Absolutely Positively" and I think that you can see enough under the player's hand in that photo to make a good guess.

While Pepper seems to be a good solid company, I still would have preferred the "respectability" or "wow factor" that would have rubbed off on us with a big name like Peugeot. However, Pepper's money is as good as anybody else's I guess.

The big names companies like car makers are more likely to be with us for the long term.
Our problem has been retention as a smaller company are less likely to stay after the initial impact of getting their name known.
We have had a lot of short term sponsors and really need one to stat with us.

The Saints will also announce that financial services business Pepper Money has signed a three-year deal to join Dare Iced Coffee as a co-major sponsor.

The Saints are well on their way to reaching their stated membership target of 40,000, having this week reached the halfway mark in record time.

Equally significantly, the club hopes to confirm before Christmas that it has secured government backing to return to its heartland and redevelop the Moorabbin football ground that was its home base between 1965 and 2010.
