When was the last time you can remember someone getting absolutely routed in a Grand Final? Sure there will always be a few dodgy one's,part and parcel of umpiring our game, but on the whole Grand Finals are umpired 10 times better than the season proper.

Fair dinkum it's common sense, but these control freaks,seriously,WTF are they doing to my game,our game!
Absolutely, the umpiring in both 2010 Grand Finals was impeccable, how a game of footy should be umpired. Perhaps that imbecile Geischen was on sick leave.

As I said in another post it's getting silly. We should just have shoot outs with a wall standing guard -that way no infringements of Kevin Bartlett's new extra crazy contactless contests can be achieved. It's getting like city parking inspector- the umpires just wait to see anything that can be construed as a penalty and calling it. The game isn't better for any of it. They have lost sight of what made it great and instead seem to feel the ned to remodel constantly.
