You see you have only selectively quoted me and in isolation and without context I can see breaches for sure! It would be belittling and perhaps insulting.

Now if we put it in the context of the complete conversation - in that the play the post (ball) and not the poster (man) had been explained previously - one could argue that you had failed to understand and thus the extension would be you were not capable of understanding - however there IS another alternative and you would either have to decide between;

(A) it being accurate that you lacked the intellectual capability to understand the difference between "left field" ideas that are views on the St Kilda Football Club (such as those posted by CityWest in the past and can be debated properly through rebuttal) and "left field" approaches to denigrate or bait a poster which you encouraged and felt were acceptable as being "left field" in nature

Or

(B) you had the intellectual capability to understand the difference - in which case your posts have to be read in the context that they were written to bait me and encouraged others to bait in this manner.

Terrible thread.

Couldn't care less about CityWest. I have found his posts pessimistic and without any real validity. Seemed fair to question his allegiance. Long term Saintsational user and a seemingly reliable source Joffaboy was adamant that he was an Essendon supporter. Can't blame some of us for taking his word for it.

Okay, so now he's actually a St.Kilda supporter. Whoop-de-doo!

Many people on the forum disliked Barks4eva's posting. I have met him in person and regarded him a die hard Saints man, as well as a good bloke, yet I never felt the need to start a thread by trying to defend his Saintsational reputation. People can fend for themselves, can't they?
