Facts are, whether you win by 1 point or 100 points you only get 4 premiership points. Savour every one of them if you are a true Saints supporter.
Like I said earlier, some supporters are satisfied with scraping passed the bottom team.
And some supporters are satisfied with premierships.
If you've been a Saints supporter for more than five minutes you will know that wins are getting harder to come by. Yes, for sure, an anonymous genius on the other end of the internet only accepts premierships, and the main problem with our club is there are not enough supporters with the guts to be abusive on an anonymous fan forum.
You may be heroically unsatisfied, but I'm pretty sure that my team is just as successful as yours. Cheers!
But why change anything, we won! Who cares if it was only kicking 9 goals (continual problem) to scrape by the worst team in the comp. Papering over the cracks?? Naaah, it’s aaaall gooooood!!

Percentage is the gauge, not wins.Jacks Back wrote: ↑Mon 27 May 2019 11:16pmThe problem with that thinking is that we're equal on points with the 7th team but have the worst percentage of the teams that have won 5 games. Hence if we can win by a lot when we win (instead of a little) we would be in the 8.Trev from the Bush wrote: ↑Sun 26 May 2019 11:27pm Facts are, whether you win by 1 point or 100 points you only get 4 premiership points. That’s what tells you how good you are.
When was the last time we were well above 100%??

I would 100% sacrifice a win or two for the long term benefit of the club, not just tread water for another 5 years
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Saints 5-5 and in equal 7th
This is the 9th time in the AFL era St Kilda has had 5 wins from their first 10 games.
Here’s where we’ve ended up at the end of the home and away season each time....
2017 – 11th
2012 – 9th
2008 – 4th
2006 – 6th
2005 – 4th
2003 – 11th
1997 – 1st
1991 – 4th
On five occasions we’ve gone on to play finals, while we’ve not finished lower than our current ladder position (11th) from a 5-5 start.

I love a win and cant stand it when ppl critisize the club. I think though that Richardson is not the right person to continue.ss1986 wrote: ↑Mon 03 Jun 2019 12:36amYou changed your tune quick...magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sun 26 May 2019 9:23pm I honestly don’t get it with all the whining and whinging on here.
