Looking for anybody who has old game footage for the 1983 season only, either on vhs, Beta or dvd.

Not for me. I think I might have even more issues, because this off season, I plan to learn about these seasons and I would appreciate anyone who has thoughts on the seasons 1981,1982, 1983 and 1984, and even 80 and 85, right up to the part we had half the ex-Carlton team.

These seasons now fascinate me...as we showed glimpses here and there..didn't we, but somehow, fate had us right at the bottom of the heap. The seasons when we started off with three figure drubbings etc. mid-season (slumps is not strong enough a word) 'sink holes' where we dropped into a canyon and fell through the bottom of the earth. How did it happen, and how did we manage to regain some poise. It's all interesting to me now. It might be an age thing.

At the risk of being banned for mentioning 'Bigfooty' - if you check out the St Kilda page, George has created an excellent archive thread with a truck load of Saints clips including 5 games from 1983.

I had all the tapes of Saints games from that era. Unfortunately due to my partners aversion to my tendency to be a hoarder they all went to the tip many moons ago.

Don't think I even have a VHS recorder these days. Certainly not one connected to a tellie.

I have no videos of that era, but many bad memories of watching those games.

I had all the tapes of Saints games from that era. Unfortunately due to my partners aversion to my tendency to be a hoarder they all went to the tip many moons ago.

My mates wife threw away a set of exhaust pipes he needed to reinstall every two years to pass the biannual inspection so that he could reregister the bike. And so he failed the rego test and had to sell the bike.

They are now divorced. And he bought another bike
