On paper the Saints don't compare but if they play like Ukraine they will win.

So Ratts has not selected Sharman and Highmore again. What a deadset flog of a coach!!!!!!

St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

I think he would prefer to get Hanners out of the hospital bed than play Highmore or Sharman- don't forget how sh*thouse Sharman was near the end of last season.

That's true, Hanners has better form than Sharman and Highmore.

Hasn’t given up on Kent... that’s optimism for you.

If optimism is slamming your pecker in a car door, yes.

Will not play.

He is an emergency by he fact that we have virtually no other decent small un-injured options.

Reinforced by say Byrnes probably staying within the 23 that will play on Sunday.

Ben Long is a much better option than Kent.

Gee we look ripe for the picking aye!

Anyone sensing a slaughtering of the lambs.

Can someone convince me a win is possible.

Apparently Riewoldt in doubt

I hear you.

I guess the positive is that we won last week with a team of unfashionable scrubbers. A moneyball team with very little apparent star quality.

Though the Tiggers look much better on paper, it is still 22 v 22.

Totally mystified as to why Kent would even be considered.

So it looks like Ratts thinks there is room for all three, RoMa, Paddy and Hayes.

I like, for no other reason Hayes gets more opportunity to adjust to the pace of AFL because Paddy is a week-by-week proposition and we need to know if Hayes permanent fixture and be thinking about life after Paddy.

Hayes played most of last season at chf in the SANFL I believe. Maybe he wants to make sure we have that position covered between him and Marshall as well as first and second ruck.

Paddy back is good but we lose a running player in Byrnes who will probably be the medical sub.

I wonder if Joyce has just made a call to his old Hurling coach…that looks pretty ominous I would say, given he said if he doesn’t make the cut, he’ll be gone.

I’ll sing my song
And I’ll be gone

Some day I’ll have money!

Show me the money..
he did OK last week.

But no Riewoldt !!
Nice.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

I know he's not a genuine ruck and he's no replacement for Paddy but what he could be is an AFL player and we just desperately need to stock up on bonafide AFL grade types especially ones that can gap fill in positions like the ruck while we are trying to recruit a genuine A grade tap ruckman.

Joyce is an A1 AFL player. A credit to himself & our player development. The crunch will come soon because another club is going to offer him big bucks. Hope he consolidates in our team by Paton moving up the ground. He, Paton, was on track to be a v. good mid before his unfortunate injury.
