Looks a real find. Has shown glimpse in games, but his third quarter today was damn good

Re: Windheager
Awesome thread and the OP beat me to it. Definitely deserves a thread of its own.
I had tingles running up the spine with what he did when he came on, it's bizarre to say but he was the spark that got us going in Q3 and took the initiative to show leadership after Steely went off and way beyond his years and the quality of his ball use was elite and sublime. He was physical and was bold and took risks that gave us some massive advantage.
Just breath taking. I can't wait to watch the replay.

Re: Windheager
Maybe just maybe Windhager, NWM and Owens should play in the seniors every week?
St Kilda should never trade with Essendon and Sydney ever again!!!

Re: Windheager
I was saying the same thing in an earlier thread. He could become that explosive mid who can go forward and bag a few. He has these glimpses of X factor that he can hopefully develope into something special.

Re: Windhager
What a great kid, just puts his nose over the ball and ploughed through. Plus when he wins it he uses it very well. Exceptional talent and love watching him play.

Re: Windhager
I've watched the replay twice from the moment he was subbed in until the end of the 3rd. All I can say is this kid is special.
I have always been envious of clubs that pick a player like Selwood and play like a superstar from game one. I'm really hoping this kid is our Selwood.

Re: Windhager
Easily his best game. He has looked a little off the pace so far but he was a real spark and made things happen in this game. Looked like he believed that he belonged at AFL level for the first time

Re: Windhager
Great. Just looks to have a great core to keep running and contesting. The sub position means he can run it all out easily.

Re: Windheager
That makes him a half Phar Lap.
He's a ripper & I can't wait until his best mate gets another opportunity to play in the seniors, with some freedom. Owens may get that opportunity next week in Adelaide.

Re: Windheager
Phar Lap was a champion - Phar Lap was a Geld - 100% logical we should Geld all our players.

Re: Windheager
Other selections from 2021 in Owens, Adams, Heath, Sharman, Peris & Kyle also have a very bright futures IMO. Particularly Owens & Heath they will top 10 club players in the future.
If we can have a half as good draft periods this year, it will set our list up for years to come!

Re: Windhager
He is a good size (185cm), although still shorter than Christian Petracca (187cm), Clayton Oliver (189cm) and Patrick Cripps (195cm - that's 6 ft 5 inches!). He has the signs of football smarts even though he is only 18. He will need them since he is slow with no change up pace. He can take a mark, not sure whether he has a leap. Skills look OK, especially handball.

Re: Windhager
Just watched the replay. He looks like he belongs. Solid as a tree trunk and still a young fella. Like him a lot.
