Do we have a Plan B?

Post: # 1984874Post 1971 »

To all intents and purposes it appears RL will be our next coach. Emphasise on appears. Do you think the club has a Plan B if RL doesn't want the job or is it really a fait accompli? Sorry for new thread.

I have to imagine given what a highly controversial move this was right from the outset…
That RL really was already in the bag before the trigger was pulled. The club pbly didn’t speak to him formally, but I’m sure he was sussed out and unofficially committed before hand.

It may even be that the trigger was pulled because RL was considered a better choice and available

It’s interesting isn’t it…
GT copped a lot of flak for the old not going through the process situation in 01. Suffice it to say that I doubt a process is in play here.

Given the circus that we have become

Plan B is probably Richo

Our 2022 season and a typical Ferrari F1 race are unfortunately strikingly similar!

I mean really?
Your comparing GT who was caretaker and then suggested he was the best candidate , had only coached Warrnambool prior to that …to be a 4 time GF AFL coach with a 57% strike rate across 300 games whose been chased by 4 clubs???????
Are you serious??????????
It’s not even a sensible comparison….geezus

It’s a done deal. All the rest is just theatre.

Come on Teffers… relax. It’s just an observation. Not even suggesting it’s wrong. Interesting is all.

If/when RL signs on, I’m onboard. Certainly seems like 2023 definitively got a lot more interesting and my hope is that you shove the club’s success in my face for years to come. Not everything is GT v RL. The civil war is long over

ha. the off season. we have teflon welcoming home his messiah, scallop carrying on like a pork chop, and saynta who appears so disgusted he's not bothering to post. most of us i'd wager are still a bit befuddled by it all. only st kilda.
