I don't think a team should ever lose games on purpose.

But, it's clear from Ross's post match presser that he already knows a lot about the group. There's 4-5 weeks for a few players to play for their future, should be selected and supported to see what they've got. And if they don't have it, and still have a contract it will give them a good path to success over a full preseason.

That's too obvious. It'd backfire bigtime.

We'd be in trouble and we'd be sanctioned and end up losing our first round draft pick.

What we could do, is just prepare the team the same way as the coaches prepared them for the Gold Coast game.

The funny thing at the moment is we are sitting in 6th spot because Sydney and Fremantle have been crap most of the year and recently clubs like Essendon, Adelaide, and the Western Bulldogs keep losing.
