Bytel in, will Ronnie Byrnes be the sub?

I would be surprised if Campbell plays.

For me the likely bench:
Stocker
Gresh
Billings
Windhager

A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤🤍🖤 and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Frankly I am stunned by this team, in particular that Mathias is still in the team. He looked so cooked last week

Surely he should have had a spell

What is the result of RTB hard words.. Butler out but is that also either or both Gresham and Stocker

I hope Bytel gets a run at it and finishes the Great Jack Bytel Debate of '23.

You think all players should be judged on just 1 game do you?

I hope not. The young man needs 4-5 games just to get used to his team mates in seniors and their voices

I thought Hayes might have been a chance as we are light on for strength and experience up forward. I guess it is a lot to ask of a guy just two games back from long-term injury.

I wonder if Campbell is a sneak chance and he and Marshall split time up forward

Side looks a lot better with Billings and Higgins plus a fitter Clark.

No by 'run at it' I meant multiple games. I think there is a tendency amongst supporters to judge too quickly.

Go Jack Bytel, hope he gets 35 touches, 15 contested and 10 tackles

Now remember… it’ll be his first full game in 18 odd rounds, he’s played something like 25 games + he’s playing for his career so is under a lot of pressure.

We have to keep expectations in check.

Anything less then 57 disposals, 23 tackles, 15 marks, 9 goals and a few smothers… and I’ll joining Zacsby with the I told you so’s

So Peris out and Butler managed. Who brings the manic forward pressure? Certainly not Higgins (always looks unfit to me).

Scollop don’t go back tracking now. You have been talking Bytel up like no tomorrow to the point that I think you fantasise about him at night. You gotta back him now as you have been saying he is champion all year.

If he blows the lid off against North I “might” eat my words and say you were right, but again we are playing the second worst team in the comp being North.

Spot on
Clearly RTB is in find out mode
Time for Bytel to step up or step off
Good luck to him
But in the words of Vortex…”he’s no Cooper Sharman..”

They are only bluffing.
No way Bytel will be allowed on the field even as medical sub.
Especially if Pooh tries to play.
In the same team Bytel risks showing up the selection committee for persisting with Pooh instead of letting Pooh learn the game at Sandringham.

I really hope for some Lyon magic on this one and desperately hope Jack has a cracker and plays a game that hasn’t been seen by a new midfielder since Lenny because that’s what type of luck our list build desperately needs….A graders that come as a gift from the footy Gods.

But I don’t think he’s going to make it.

Come on Ross, wave that magic wand and turn Jack into an A grader.

Guess the bench

Is butler Rested and they are just wanting to make sure Billings gets through training today ?

Clark, Billings, Windy, Grehsam

Sub Brynes - gives most flexibility out of what is left there

Stoker Campbell Brynes
