Fair enough but you also didn’t need to inject that POV as forcibly as you did onto the forum.
You posted essentially the same opinion into 5-6 threads (many of which were off topic) on how non-specifically terrible everything was and how it was going to be a sh!#y season, and started at least 2 threads on the same thing leading to intervention.

You didn’t cop flak because you had a negative POV… plenty of ppl did and there were countless threads detailing poor structure, poor coaching, individual players, poor umpiring etc.
You copped flak because you made it about you and irritated a lot of forumites by derailing their topics/conversions.

Now it’s time for this conversation to move on

This is actually a fair point. To me, this was the forum equivalent of constantly bringing up/rehashing item one in a meeting when the group is trying to move on to the other agenda items. At a certain point it’s quite disruptive.

In retrospect I pbly should have taken your suggestion and just merged the topics - have copped flak for that before but I think it makes sense

I don't keep reventilating it. I didn't even start this thread. My behaviour was poor, I can admit that and I apologise. If other posters don't want to move on from that, not my issue.
