Same as yesterday. Could have blown them away. Kept them in it. Essendon now in front.

Trevor Barker Oval has a definite scoring end

Collard 3 goals so far in the 3rd and 4 for the game. He's a beautiful set shot for goal - possibly the best at the club.

Good to see Jack Hayes playing though, I think he probably needs a couple of runs at Sandringham before being considered for the 1st's.
He would replace Sharman or Caminiti.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Collard with 4. He has that touch of class about him. Has just been awarded best on ground by the Channel 7 crew. Still physically immature, but he will be some sort of player in the future. I just hope we can hang on to him.

A tick for Garcia as well. Attacks the ball as though it's his prey. The 2023 draft is shaping up well.

Collard had a couple of shots from 50 into the wind in the last quarter which fell short, could have easily added another couple to his tally. And had a nice passage towards the end where he drew the defender, dished off hands to teammate which ended in a goal for Sandy. Looked solid.

Also good to hear from him in the post match interview that he's now in his own apartment here with the missus and enjoying Melbourne apparently. Hopefully we can keep them here!

Garcia hit an absolute beauty to a forward inside 50, little pulled kick off a step and hit him lace out.

Hayes being available couldn't come at a better time but probably plays another one or two with Sandy though.

Why can't they give Campbell a crack in the 1sts to help Roma. I just don't get it!

A slender physique hasn't held Bobby Hill back. Collard looks the goods. Yes, he needs to become stronger to survive the physical rigors of the AFL, but retain his pace and maintain a "wirey" type of strength, for example like Tuck, Bartlett, Fletcher et al. from back in the day.

Booby only played 8 and 5 game each in his first two years in the AFL.

Are you familiar with the StoneHenge rocks in the UK?

I think the coaches are worried Campbell might look like StoneHenge on an AFL field and pose the same questions that have baffle archaeologists for centuries, like " how did the rocks get there and what are they for" ?

There’s slender and there’s fkn skinny

He is 68KG

God help him if he gets tackled in the AFL - he will be rag dolled

And why haven't they moved for centuries/millenia/however old it is.

That's what coaches keep asking, "why isn't Campbell moving"?

Campbell is slow but we didn't recruit or draft any ruckman during draft period and if they think he is to slow what happens if Row goes down do we go with Owens only its a dilemma that we created.
The only short term solution is that we look at the mid season draft and see what is available around Australia in the way of ruckman there must be some good players to grab.
There have been some good players come out of the mid season draft with the state game this week the SA v Vic players are on show lets see what on offer.

We DON’T need a ruckman!

We have a AA quality ruckman

We need a forward who can go into the ruck for 5-10mins per quarter

No good team has 2 genuine ruckman
