Port knew very well what they were doing letting Howard and Bonner go and the Dogs letting Cordy go. Never going to be a challenger with duds like this. Play more youth and give us supporters some real hope with new talent and upside. These blokes are a liability to the team going forward. Membrey and Ross are done too.

The whole side are s*** kickers poor handballers and then on top of that poor thinkers
He’s just too quick to kick or dispose. Doesn’t possess the silk or speed you need to break through contests and create great moments. I admire his second efforts and he always tries his guts out, but he just hasn’t got what it takes to make it at this level. We need to stop giving him games.

Angus Hastie needs to be in the starting lineup next week, the kid shows plenty - 8 disposals in a quarter of footy and looked very good.

Grow a pair Saints and do a please explain to the AFL.
Disappointed with the loss, but reasonably happy with the performance, yeah there were some clangers, but there was also some bad luck where the ball just wouldn't sit for us, typical St.Kilda luck.
If we play like this next week with the inclusion of King, Webster and maybe Dow and Wood we should beat North comfortably.

Why doesn’t he kick?!

2 kicks

It is normally an indication of being slow
He’s practically ineffective.

Port missed a lot of easy ones. They kept us in the game.

They kept us in it with their poor goal kicking, but we were pretty much dominated, lots of issues still need addressing.

18 more frees will lead to more inside 50’s more shots at goal.

How was the free against Howard 15 out.

May as well have just declared we are cheats

I'm sorry . Saints wont win a game in serial killer city until there is a level playing field and the maggots give both teams the same treatment... 25 free kicks to 9 is not a fair go or a fair reflection of the game.

Taylor said that Port had received over 400 more free kicks than opposition sides in Adelaide over the past 10 years.

The AFL needs to look into this but of course they wont

We didn’t have many possession getters across the board.

Wilson 21
Steele 15
Ross and Hill 14

some teams win the close ones unfortunately for us, we lose the close ones.
Teams are always going to lose close ones with the home town umpiring we saw tonight.

The Hawthorn team of the 1980s would have struggled to overcome it.

Disgraceful, insipid, error-filled effort from a poorly coached team devoid of leadership. Saints were a rabble of lazy, ponderous, individuals. They allowed a depleted Port side to over-run them. Big clean out is needed at the end of the year…starting with Howard.

Cordy won a premiership how do you explain that?

He loves his free ball though, keeps him coming back for more.

Will the Saints ever be classed as a good club ?
