The crap I and many others had to listen to from you over analysing naval gazing drop kicks about our 'tactical' messiah from Sydney being the icing on an otherwise well baked cake makes me sick.

They're probably waiting outside Telstra Dome so they can follow GT home.

Got a better option? Sack the coach? Yeah, that'd be great. We gotta show some guts (like Geelong, Richmond and Hawthorn), stick with the plan and strap ourselves in for the ride. RL knows the problems, so does everyone else...what's he gonna do about it? We'll have to wait and see.

should of kept blight but the other day i heard Jack Oatey who was regarded as one of the most successful coaches ever coached for 16 yrs before he scored a flag so maybe with time ross might be the best ever. but i doubt it

Blight? WTF??? Should never have hired him, as we should never have offed Alves, or even Sheldon for that matter! But that's history...do the best with the tool we got.

Dont confuse RL lovers with GT haters.

Big difference.

People can only make valid opinion after events.....which are only 1.5 years in now.

Well, he had to watch the same piss poor team effort we did today. I think the match panel deserves more of a spanking, but at least now the whole world knows how many passengers are going around in the St Kilda team. Shame we just signed one of 'em up for another 3 years!

Ross Lyon is to smart to be coaching our list we play dumb football and it's the players fault not the coach's.

Poor Ross has very little to work with atm.

MMM i wonder why he has so little to work with?

Our list has been going backwards since 2004 and now poor Ross is getting it in the neck.

100 PERCENT ROSS LYON 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt hire him but i had faith in him and the people who appointed him.
i am guilty of critisising him and for wanting him to be sacked.
but part of me still has faith, maybe because i want him succeed.
for his sake i hope he realise's that what he is trying to achive with this group is not working and that he needs to change his approach to save his job and the careers of many of the players.

I like to support RL, but as yet, no evidence of any special coaching abilities and greater than the bloke he replaced. All I saw today, was poor skills, predictable tactics and an unbalanced team with more than half the team playing with less that 100% intensity at the ball. How do you fix that? Dunno.. a mixture of coach and players. We do need some small forwards who are prepared to put their bodies on the line. Much evidence of poor recruiting over the last 5 years.

Supporting the club isn't sticking your head up your clacker.

Ross has done zero in 31 games to earn our respect.

Even worse, he's done zero to earn the players respect.

I heard Luke Ball during the week saying it was unfair the criticism Ross is copping. He said it was up to the players to make a statement this week in support of Ross.

The players spoke loud and clear today.

Im here Kenny - only gutless squibs like your or Jeffery and co jump off and call for the coach to be sacked less than 2 yrs in.

Refreshing to hear A Thompson say on radio today how much he respected Lyon after playing under him and that he WILL get his chance to mould this side.

Turn the heat up on soft, underperforming players and lets at least identify and cut the loafers from this list.

Whether Lyon can or can't coach (and at present it is pretty clear that he is not motivating the players).....it does not obviate the fact that GT castrated our list and our future...which is now our present.

About a week ago he said that Raph has the potential to be AA.....which goes to show his ability to rate and determine talent.

GT was judged on his trades and draft selections and post Waldon was found wanting....as RL should now be judged on his selections that he has overseen.

If GT had remained so would have his crap player selections and trades.

If you want to remember back fondly...then think of the Waldon era for that is when we were making the right calls on players.

So we support Lyon because he's not GT or because GT was worse?

Some logic there.

We are currently the worst coached side in the league.

We are also the worst prepared team in the league.

Despite 2 preseasons, 2 drafts & 31 games in charge, it's GT's fault we played like we did today?

FFS, that's the sort of spin I expect from political parties, not supporters of a football team.

Can Lyon coach?

I'm not a 'bitter' GT supporter, but f***, at least you felt like the players were desperate to play for him.

Half the time I reckon the players are sniggering at the huddles: "As if I'm taking instructions from a bloke with a drawl AND a lisp..."

Robert Walls could coach us and i'd be fully supportive of him.

I'm always 100 percent behind the coach.

Where as under RL they are clearly inspired choices with better draft picks.

Your resorting to your usual, sole based cr@p again Jeff and I reckon most have heard it and had enough (if thats not bad enough you admitted to picking your arse......thats just filth...but explains a few of your ideas)

You seem to revel in the losses........your a weird turd...Ill grant you that..

Im not interested in debating Thomas.

FACTS ARE you want a coach who has had less than 2 yrs in the job - isnt that so Jeff?

Grow some balls and admit it you squib.
