They are $10 for the flag in 2009

We are $13

With most of us wearing our rose coloured glases, the emotionless bookies think the blues will get there before us...

SAY IT ISN'T SO!!

They don't have a backline.....

When it comes to sports, if you haven't got a solid defence, you will not win premierships/titles/grand finals ect.

All these Carlton supporters can get as excited as they want, so far after our 1st picks (Roo & Goddard) we haven't won a flag.....

When compared to their picks (Gibbs, Murphy & Kruezer).....

I'd take our boys anyday.

Totally agree, Carlscum back 6 and ruck stocks are behind ours. Can't see why they are at a tenner. And really having fat farm leading in the midfield aint gonna get them a flag anytime soon.

Carlton were favorites to beat us in Round 15. What do the bookies know?

Do the bookies set the odds, or is it based on who's betting on whom?

Doesn't Jarred Wait play for Carlton????
and Brett Thornton???
and Andrew Walker???

I think a midfield of

Warnock, Judd, Gibbs, Stevens, Murphy, Bentick, Carrazzo, Scotland

A fwd line

Fevola, Kruezer, Fisher, Betts, Houlihan is dangerous

They will be a good team in 2009 - Make NO mistake

If you think $10 for the Princes Park Rabble is good value, PM me I'll offer you a better deal to give your money.

FWIW, before the start of last season, Freo were $11, Port $11, WC $12 . . . all shorter than us.

If you're using premiership odds as any indication of anything other than how poor they are in forecasting premiership chances then you are seriously kidding yourself.

But like I said, if you think Carlton are a chance, PM me and I'll offer you much better than $10.

Agree with you Bigmart , they will be a damn good team in 2009 .

They also have a young bloke across halfback called Bower that is going to be a good player this too . Did a very good job on Franklin last year .

If we take them lightly , they'll beat us . It's all guns firing when we meet them in 2009 .

Don't kid yourself, Carlton are a Judd injury away for yet another bottom 3 finish.

Bookmakers are no idiots, they know how dumb the majority of Carlton supporters are and will be salivating as they eagerly rake in the easy money from these mono browed morons.

They may make the 8 if they have no major injuries, but they are no closer to a premiership than we are, I'd even say we are closer to it than they are right now.

Have you noticed how Fevola struggles against good full backs, can't get a kick against Max, Scarlett or Fletcher.

There defence is suspect and have no ruck division, Kreuzer is a long way from being a dominate ruckman.

If you're so worried about the odds go and put $100k on the Saints. That should bring us in a bit.

waite is top shelf, thornton is terrible, walker could be

warnock has done nothing yet, judd - given, gibbs could be great, stevens - meh, murphy already is super, bentick - ummm...no, carazzo will struggle to maintain a place once more children are drafted, scotland - isn't he the guy with the tattoo???

Are you a midgit?

(and I'm talking not intellectually . . . I think that's already been established)

Waite is easy to expose down back - simply drag him close to goal.

Up forward, he doesn't have a clue how to play the position and helps clutter their forward line.

If Waite is top shelf, we have 15 all-Australians.

No sense of humour.

Think you'll find Roo has worked out Waite like most in the league.
