Of all the players and coaches, Mission has been our most valuable acquistion in the last couple of years IMHO.

If he finds a way to prevent unpreventable injuries he will officially be the Messiah...

'another backman, Matt Maguire (foot), and onballer Luke Ball (hamstring) are making steady progress after injury-riddled seasons and should be available for February's NAB Cup competition."

...that would make my year...well...my day anyway......

I hope GT has a good read of this article, or whoever was responsible for the F grade management of fitness at St Kilda prior to Misson.

Fair Dinkum, not to even keep ANY records of those who had hammys is absurd.

How the hell did the previous management ever think they'd solve the crisis I wonder?

I guess it was a wing and a prayer.....

Anyway, let the better, and more sensible times roll on for 2009!

Well it was instrumental in wrecking Matty Ferguson's career.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

"...Utility Sean Dempster, who ruptured his ACL in the round-22 win over Essendon, started running last week and is aiming for a mid-season return..."

That is also better than expected.

Used to be at least a year. Mabye new techniques are making the comeback time quicker.

dempster is going to come back early due to wanting to be part of a premiership team in 09 for the second time

True....that Swines bloke came back after about 3 months, can't remember the name? Was it a a success?

A mid-season return for the dumpmaster I assume means a return to the VFL for a few matches in late April perhaps???

Nick Malceski played 11 games last season after the operation late last year.

Nick Malceski had the artificial knee put in (or something like that. which then only takes 3 month rehab rather than 9-12months.
