A little info please on changing to an AFL membership

Post: # 685825Post SAMMYGILBERT#1 »

Hello, just need a bit of help please.

I am weighing up options on whether to change to an AFL membership next year and just need to know:

1. Do the Saints still get the same amount of money that they'd usually get from me as a member?

and

2. How many games can a go to per week?

Thanks in advance.

1. According to information, yes, they do

2. 40 per year I think it is, plus concessions for Finals. I'm a 2nd year Silver Member - would advise you get your head around the ticketing situation before season commences

Post like that again and you'll be banned, SAMMYGILBERT#1.

I've cleaned it up for the benefit of the forum.

cmon, give an 8x forum poster a break.
I would rather read something in capitals, than some of the language used around here...

Oh FFS - come on, how hard is it to post in normal text?

It's our forum, and you're welcome to post here if you show respect to those already here.

Saints still get money from an Aligned Silver (or Gold) AFL membership.

You can attend up to 40 games per season....so as many as you like on any given weekend - until you reach that quota.

Best value membership in town - by a mile!

Agree 100%. Been one for a good 5 or 6 years now. Full Junior AFL Member (with Saints club support). Went to 30 games this year, including the two prelim finals and the Grand Final. Worth every cent!

Me and my mate were starting to get worried about whether we were starting to edge towards the 40 lol!

Agree, the most amazing value sporting tickets I have come across.

You'd struggle to see more than 3 English premier league games for the price you pay for up to 40 AFL games.

I've got a solution for you.

http://thesentencecase.org/

Quick, easy and prevents the problem. It will translate your lower or upper case writing into normal sentences.

A few of our posters on here could do worse than use it, given how freakishly quick it is...

Don't you have to get on a very long waiting list to become and AFL member?

Saint's member - live in a democracy - entitled to vote :D :D :D :D :D

AFL member - live in a dictatorship - do as you are told by Andrew Demetriou  :(

Silver Membership is available to anyone who forks out the $350-odd bucks. Doesnt give you entry into the last 2 weeks of the finals unless, well theres no fixed rule but 2 Interstate sides would have to be playing as about 3 categories of member (including Medallion Club) are ahead of you..even WITH Competing Club support

Its the Full Membership that gets you the above privilidges and yes there is a fair wait for that I think..although a touch less than the 20-25 years you wait for Full MCC Membership

approx an 8 yr wait for full membership.
If your nominated club is in the Prelim / and or GF you can access a ticket to go.
Earlier post is correct that entry to the first 2 weeks of finals, for both Full & Silver members, is part of the membership package.
