No point for me getting a membership until closer to the season. I could well be interstate or overseas for the season. If so i'll still donate directly to the club.
I got mine today... and while I was at it, thought I better get the birthday club, polar fleece ... and the pet patron. My dog Wally is now signed up. He said "Woof woof" which I took to mean "Go Saints".
Edit: forgot to mention... cheersquad member as well.
My fiance looked at me with that "You really are tragic" look.

I know they are printed in batches- they print like memberships together. and then try and get them out to people as soon as possible after printing.

I know they are printed in batches- they print like memberships together. and then try and get them out to people as soon as possible after printing.
I just wish they would sent out the memberships as you pay.
Our 09 Family membership would look much better as a present under the tree rather than just a debit on my Visacard.
And I would have loved to get the RH DVD in time for Xmas as well.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

they did say that if you were giving it as a gift you could request a card/ notification of this fact that you can use under the tree. Don't know if anyone did this.

I will just put an envelope with a piece of paper in it saying "4 x StKilda 2009 Memberships - Pending" under the tree.
But still don't see why they can't just post them out as the money rolls in.
Or are they waiting to get them produced.
Wasn't there some problem last year or the year before where some sweatshop in China burnt down and the memberships were delayed till March ??

that is the reasoning I heard.- as I said above they they produce them in batches of like memberships-ie- all adult 11 game ( to that date)- on a similiar run
I tried to find where I read about the christmas idea- thought it wa an Archie response or ask membership- but certainly read it somewhere.
