for what it's worth
I counted atleast 44- 46 but may have double counted- Gards, milney out late - all seemed present- except Jarryd
lighter load group- .
Goose, X, Lenny, then Jack, and 4 I will name when I figure out who they were :?
for second half of session running through a fairly specific boxing and movement drill- box, drop etc- all timed, well directed by X who ahd the sintructions and the clock. the experience of lenny, X, goose and even Jack showed,

Main Group did short drills and mini games sections, runs, walks, all the usual :P in both larger and then smaller specific groups-ie forwards, rucks, etc.
included some of the young guys/ rookies for most - they then broke into smaller groups.
those more involved today than last week included BJ, and Ben,
Raph has been involved in all sessions,

Lynch sprints as described most of session - came out late
Milney , gards and schneids did lighter work- runs, ball handling etc. Then shcenieds joined the bigger group
Bakes individual work- short, very short runs testing and re testing the knee with movement,
last part of session it appeared all the rookies/ scholarship kids worked with one coach

Jack B was again in attendance
very small crowd of supporters, mixed ages and genders- 2 young boys were most excited when lenny promised an autograph- the joy of new support.
no reporters
3 cranes
2 workmen removing seat s

I will no doubt remember more as the ehat goes out of my system- still 35+ here

Can anyone help - I have made 5 mpgs of todays training but Youtube keeps telling me that there is an error uploading - and it says error downloading codec when I play it in media player. Can I email it to anyone who can upload it?

Very worried about x, could be his last season at this rate.
The stretching could be part of a preventative program developed for him. Given the predominence of this injury for him I dare say he will be under a specialised routine.

Solar - Cant help you with specifics - was kinda looking all over - and my stats man was not with me!!!! (see Sainter_Boy)

but I must say that the coaching staff congratulated Bakes on running faster than he ever has - maybe an in and under midfield role in the offing!

That is fine but will he get enough km's under his belt? Or will he spend all his time stretching and come season the extra pace will undo him again.

I would think the extreme weather dictated more streatching than running today- goose, lenny, X and several others were more static=- but there were strength components
the whole group only did two laps of the oval- although the main group were quite physical with lots of excertion.
even the trainers did two warm up laps.

I did think this would give them a warm up for Carrara in 5 weeks.

Thanks for all the reports guys - good to see forumites are toey before the season opens. Just goes to show how eager they are to get into it.

Bakes carving it up- why am I not surprised??
The return of Chris Judd's second skin.

With all the new kids at the club Bakes is a must have for the team. Perhaps he and Leigh F are facing off for a midfield possy - or better yet why not both?

Perhaps I can get my dad to go out and grab me a slab of concrete from the Animal Enclosure so I can stand on it and drink VB in the back year.

As close as I'm going to get to reliving the glorious past.

I'll also get my son to swear at me and push me off every now and then to create the atmosphere.

It was really hot the week they trained up here. I spoke to quite a few about the weather and they said it didn't bother them and that they would rather train in the heat than the cold.

Is Maguire still running laps? Yep
How are the new kids looking? Look Ok
Was Milney back from the honeymoon? Yep
I thought Baker looked very proppy, but that's just my opinion. Ball looked pretty good, well he's pretty muscular. X was doing laps didn't join in the main group, same with Maguire and Lenny, those two did ball wall in groups of 4 ie handball drills and a bit of boxing. Everyone was there except the 2 long term injury guys. They trained for about an hour an a half. There was a bit of emphasis on ball movement and they like to play keepings off. The new Aboriginal guy from the NT is pretty dark also as they are from the very top end. Didn't see you Bratty, what rock were you hiding under?

Bakes did pull up on one run a little proppy - but he stretched it out - probably more cramping - in my non medical based humble opinion - and kept running sfter that - Misso had his eye on him after it happened for a short while
