Raph named in All-stars team

Exactly that - Raph has been given a position in the Aboriginal All-Stars game Against Adelaide on 7th of Feb.

It is good that we - the saints - are able to have a representative in the game, but also positive that it shows a positive progression is Raph's career.
It would be such a positive story for this to be a true breakout year for the kid after all he has been through in the past 6 - 12 months!

Yes well done Raph, but how many Aboriginals are playing AFL, not to discount his efforts, but I reckon if you play more than half the games in a season and are a consistent performer, you'd get a gig.

But Raph did way better than that, and is now one of our top players IMO.

If he's playing in that game on the 7th of Feb then it's fair to say he WON"T be playing in the intra-club game on the 6th........

Where is the All Star game played...Adelaide ?....

to be fair though, any indigenous bloke not named in the squad should probably feel ashamed considering rookies and 2008 draftees yet to play a game got a gig.

still good for raph though, although i have the feeling he's gonna have to play KPP looking at the bunch of midgets that make up the rest of the squad

pretty much, couldnt care about the result, just play well and do what our coaching staff have told you to do in situations

He was listed in the best seven and in a game that was heavily dominated by the All Stars forwards - so maybe he is on his way to that All Australian guernsey
