Apparently GT knew his father, who was also known as Goose. Mini Goose became Goose quickly.

Mags is for this generation 'Goose' is for his daddys' generation -that includes GT. technically GT is also an old fella but he did get us close to a GF - not good enough but Rossi will go one better.
