16 goals...regulation win??

If the 16 goals is meant to a wining margin you might be a mite bit optimistic there...

Cox and Kerr both looked in rare form last week...

West Coast are underrated - they have some serious guns in that side - BUT they will be on the road, it'll be our first home game for the year and they played a Port Adelaide side that was WOEFUL. In fact, having just had a squiz at the game last night on bigpond, I'd go o far as to say Melbourne would have knocked them off on that particular day.

We will stifle them. Cox is a worry for any side, but Kerr will get strangled by us and we wll tackle them into submission becasue this year that is what we do.

Saints by 20 - 30.

Hmmm...shades of last year there Loyal? A lot of posters here thought smashing the Hawks the week before meant we were going to saunter over to the west and tear the Budgies a new one...but they were very very wrong.

There's no reason why we shouldn't win, but it won't be a walk in the park.

Would have thought round 1 was a home game?

We should beat the Eagles, Cox is a concern always, big job for Gardiner to stay with him. Wouldnt mind Gardiner pushing forward and Kosi going on to him after the centre bounce?

Let Ball run with Kerr IMO, both hard nuts, no need to out and out tag him if Ball goes to him.

Hope BJ uses the criticism layed at him for his gesture and also his spray on Gram as motivation for a big game.

Maybe this year?

Apologies.

Some short memories around here. We lost our last game against West Coast.

Would love to see Dawson do a number on Quinten Lynch the way he did on Barry Hall. I still remember being really riled when Goddard had a tantrum after a free was paid against him, and Lynch arrogantly rubbed him on the head.

cox
kerr
lacras
priddis

it wont be a walk i the park, no....but a win should be chalked up, yes.

but somewhere i have a distant memory of getting done by this mob when we all thought we were a shoe in....

we have to expect to lose a few during the year, i mean come on, unbeaten??, aint gonna happen too many times.
but not this week.
i think a win should be penciled in.
hopefully that justintv link thingy works....otherwise i might have to resort to the radio!!!!

What is this Justin TV link you talk of. Is this a way of watching the games when only on Fox.

Ball as an attaking midfielder, Baker to do what baker does or give the job to C.J........... I thought he did an o.k job on Mcleod

Killed McLeod... Kerr is extremely unaccountable so we could play an equally damaging player off him (in recent weeks Dal) or CJ to play a shut down roll as he's the only damaging midfielder...
I would like to see a closing down tag by CJ on him therefore
Fletcher (better for us when he has it than them), Priddis (not damaging), Adam Selwood and Masten will have to beat Goddard, Dal, Monty, Ball, Hayes

How will we deal with the rolling zone? WC almost beat Brisbane by employing it.

the difference degruch being that the game is at docklands.

BJ can play tall and BJ can play small. i see no problem with playing possibly the best tagger in the comp on kerr.

we know how good cox can be but if he is not rucking to advantage he is not rucking at all. perhaps worsfold and WCE know this however.

with or without cox we have too many for them.

grammy is going to have an absolute field-day with his mate farren ray. dal and joey working in tandem with bally and lenny doing the tough stuff. our talls and crumbers up forward.

this could really be murder boys.

we could really make an example of them and turn this into a percentage-fixture if we liked.

We dealt with it fairly well against Adelaide - IMO who are a much more disciplined and well-organised side than WCE.

It would be great to have a big win but we need to keep a lid on it and just look for a convincing win :)
