Fair & reasonable?

Post: # 723493Post Mooksy »

I lost my memebership card at the game on Saturday. Just called the club to get another one sent out. It costs $20 to replace it. Is this over the top? I reckon it is.

Take into account someones time to take your call, check your membership get you a new membership, get the membership to you.
Most people at least charge for a one hour minimum so $20 is fair and reasonable IMHO.

From my knowledge it's a fairly standard replacement price for a lost membership card. Pretty sure it's similar to the replacement cost should I lose my MCC membership card.

Sounds fair. Its not just re-issuing your new card but also voiding the old one I would imagine. And anyway the club is upfront about this charge. I know about the $20 replacement charge, so think I must have read about it in the membership brochure somewhere?

Yeah it's fair....the mistake was yours and it wouldn't be free for the club to replace it, they would incur a cost in doing it.

That's a pretty standard replacement fee.

yes, fair and reasonable.

IF it was stolen and part of a bigger heist (ie. house robbery), you'd include it on the Police Report and claim on insurance.
