hopefully that will combat Johnson's equalling record number of games for the bulldogs.

Congrats Dal! In the past I've worried about "milestone" games. We seem to have had a habit of falling over in them in the past, but it seems to be very different this season!

we will make sure he gets to see the banner this week!
in his 50th the banner blew away, that was vs the Swans in the final at the G. 100th was at the Gabba and while we were showing the cheer squad the banner at the other side of the ground the players came out a few mins early so they ran through the sponsor side

Was his first game in the thumping against Geelong? I think Ablett made his debut a few weeks before that.
I remember Dal Santo in what was I think his second game - the draw against the Swans in which Wulf hit the post running into an open goal in the dying minutes - an amazing game for lots of reasons.
Anyway, Dal had the ball in his hands when the siren went, about 65 out. He went for a torp and it fell just short. I knew then that the kid had a bit of get-up-and-go about him. I'm so glad he's over whatever it was that was holding him back last year.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.
