Why?
It clearly states that its a RUMOUR. Nobody with half a brain should take it as gospel.
There just might be times when somebody might get a sniff of something before the media. If you were meeting with a group of like minded fans in person you share whatever snippets of info you have, and give your mates the opportunity to share in a scoop before it makes head lines. Isn't SS a group of like minded sainter "mates" getting together for a chat?
As long as rumour status is clearly spelled out, let the big boys and girls on this forum decide for themselves if its something they might be interested in.

Initial scans have revealed that well over half of the saintsational membership still can't spell his surname.

Details at 11.

At worst I imagine it's a check up to see how his knee has repaired, all prudent monitoring by our medicos.

Thank god he wasn't seen outside Tobin Brothers!

Hopefully just a check up on his mystery pre season knee. No doctor in the country had an explanation for it apparently

I heard the Rumour File this morning as well.

The lady called in saying a StKilda star that was named in the side last night was seen waiting for an MRI scan at Victoria House yesterday.

On further questioning she said it was Nick.

How she knows it's for an MRI was interesting. Is that the only thing you can have done there ?

It smells of an anti Nick Bombers fan trying to have fun to me.

Next it'll be on Sunday night "How many free kicks Nick gets !" Another popular Bombers excuse.

Acute injury yes, outpatient management to Vic House or The Avenue, Prahran where there a number of sports medicos and orthopods have rooms.

Whether of not it's true...... I wouldn't read a lot into it.....He has a chronic knee problem that will need managing for the rest of his career/life. It's been known about for a couple of years now. No new news there. Everybody, but in particular Nick, will be keeping their fingers crossed that he doesn't go down the Aaron Hamill path of natural history. Regular MRIs and clinical assessments will be part of the monitoring process.

Young Elvis.

If it was Vegas Elvis, you wouldn't be able to see the 7/11.

Sounds like good news..ie we are now acitively managing our players to prevents injuries, and manage existing problems, rather than the previous WTTFDWDN routine when they balloon out...

I agree with the positive posters, it's probably just regular monitoring... and to see how it's healed and improved so far.

Keep smiling.

always look on the bright side of life.
