Hayes - special mention for today.

Post: # 833917Post SuperSaint »

How brilliant was he again today. His efforts in the centre, especially in the first half, were unbelievable. I feel so sorry for him as he single handedly won the ball out of the centre on many occasions today for us and set us up to be in a winning postion. Played his guts out again and he deserved better. He played 3 super finals and I hope he holds up a premiership cup before his career is over. We are lucky to have such a magnificent player on our list and his leadership qualities are equally good. He and Roo are standouts for us and unfortunately they did not get the reward they deserved today.

He was BOG by a mile.
A total inspiration.
First player you would pick.

Clearly our best player. The move of Bartel onto him after 1/4 time killed us as his effectiveness dropped right off. Still a trooper till the end. I felt for the boy - he put 100% in. Some of his mates could have learned.

Can't believe he didn't get a single vote from the Norm Smith judges.

Very hard to pick our most important player - Lenny or Roo. Different players but both give us so much.

2010 has a nice ring to it.
