Was a warrior in the first half, the only Saint who looked at the top of their game. But he appeared to have a very quiet second half, there is no injury concern is there?

Yeah, I was a little concerned too.

It is unusual to Lenny have a quiet one, Hopefully it'll be seen as the 'calm before the storm' after next saturday

He did play a lot of the last qtr as a forward but I'm sure he will be right.

He has to be right.

Hobbled off a bit at half time...commentators said he appeared to get a knock on the knee. Hopefully the club doc has the good stuff for next week.

Absolute warrior. I'm getting the impression none of the injuries are really serious and that a light week on the track will see the boys close to their best.

The fact that everyone kept playing is a positive sign... at worst, hopefully they can play next week unrestricted with a jab before the game.

Cooney mentioned him game day Friday night, that he was the one who willed the Saints over the line in last years prelim....think the Dogs focused on him, still amazing.

Yeah, Lenny was quiet in the second half, as were Dal(though 'injured'), Joey at times.
Good effort then with a few players down a bit.

Was just talking to my mate in rosebud - mad sainter, his dad played in the fifties for them - and i said I thought Farren Ray played a top game. He agreed but said he hadn't been mentoned in the write-ups down there.

We watched the second half again and Lenny spent a fair portion of the 3rd and 4th quarter off the ground. He was in the rooms for the latter part of the 3rd quarter for some reason but came back and played the first 10-15mins of the 4th. That's the only reason why this champion gun player had a quiet 2nd half because he wasn't on the ground for half of those quarters.

Certainly was mentioned in reports (media) that Lenny had a leg issue.

Gardiner didnt touch it in the first half, but finished well I thought.

Schneider was very clean all game I thought, one of our only 1 grab players in the first half, thought Macevoys first half was also ok.

Maybe this year?
