A great get again Saintbrat ! The weight loss issue is 5.21 into the interview.

It's a good interview with Kosi and provides a good insight into where he is at. It's well worth a listen. :)

And people are fond of saying the players are too "polished" and give nothing away to the media.

In general, I believe that the players never say much and are usually "on message" to the questions of the week.

In this case, I thought that the interviewers asked reasonable questions and did not try to pin Kosi to one particular issue. They also had a lot more interview time than is often the case. Kosi simply spoke openly, which gave listeners a better insight into things.

Kosi is just a country lad-- In the nicest way
I can see him leaning on the tractor or over the saleyards fence and just 'chatting'. Chewing the ' fat'

He has a natural way of speaking and would never have had to have to do much training apart from knowing what to say or not to say

Matt Maguire was another able to undertake a great conversation.

others ( me) struggle and you see differant traits in people - Nick R to me has only shown in the last few years a more relaxed reaction to questions and conversation. But has worked hard at it.

I haven't been the biggest Kozi fan, but I think he's a vital part of our line up moving forward. He has the ability to ruck, push forward, back and take that strong mark when required. Hopefully he can stay fit and provide that bit of X-factor and unpredictability in our set up.

Sadly I think he's been mentally affected and perhaps a little over-shadowed by Roo, but I think his confidence is slowly coming back and that can have the same positive impact.

After kosi had that back problem , he put on weight to strengthen his core , perhaps he put too much on , and this has hindered him in some way .

Looking forward to him delivering what we know he has the capability of doing.

His weight loss has been a planned happening to deliver increased pace and agility. Good thinking in my mind.

Pace and agility? Can't be talking about Justin Koschitzke,

Should have said "more" pace and agility, "if" he had any!

Perhaps he can run a lot further now and jump higher!

Not happy with the plethora of anti Kosi threads over the years, some posters can't help coming onto this generally positive thread and having a crack at the guy

Let's all hope that he puts in one of his better games this Saturday, Doc. He's on the improve and can take a great grab, so let's see what he can deliver.

Eleven seasons, one appearance in the club top ten (ninth).

Grossly overpaid for an underachiever.

My 7 year old daughter loves Kosi (even though she supports the Lions ) :(

We'll be at Metricon early, hoping to get a pic with him somehow, and wishing him the best, then settling down to watch him and the boys live.
