Then Milney needs to get his skates on - and join Lethal - not bad company there!

Only five goals off the lead. How would it be if he won it? A better forward than Daicos? Wonder what odds you can get on him?

It'd be fantastic to see Milney win the Coleman......Especially as I have $25 @ 101 on him to do it.

We shoudl rename the Coventry end MILNE - just seeing Eddie's face exploding would be worth it.

daics kicked 97 in collingwoods premiership year.

that said daicos was more of a target than milne, he was the goto man.

Milne has 'scratched' a living of FG, hall, reiwoldt, kosi and co.

But John Longmire won the medal with 98. Goals in finals don't count - towards the medal anyway.

fair call.

I think horse winning the coleman that year was a 'bradbury'.

also thought it funny he kicked 2.6 or 2.8 that last game.

Was a great era for full forward, plugger, Dunstall, yablett, modra, Peter Sumich (who should have kicked 130 plus but kicked as many points as goals), modra, Del-rey etc.

So many players were kicking 70 plus goals p/a, however there weren't that many midfielders contributing to the scores from most clubs (collingwood being the exception with their running half forwards)

shouldn't be the coventry end anyway - he never played there, and it isn't collingwood's home ground.
milne end would be appropriate as he has (will) kicked more goals than anyone there.

Who cares if it's Collingwood's home ground or not, the AFL recognised the two greatest goal kickers of all time by naming the ends of the ground they will own after them.

What i don't agree with is the ridiculous situation whereby Essendon are able to rename the ends. It's not like they can rename the Ponsford and Olympic Stands at the G.

This said, some recognition of Milney at the ground would be nice, it sh*ts me when walking through the EJ Whitten Bar to see the photo of Lloyd recognising him setting the ground record for goals in a game, a record equalled by Milne 6 years ago without similar recognition. This said I think Le Cras broke this record last year again without tthe recognition afforded to lloyd.

Buddy got another 3 and the Hawks are in form.

Milney unlikely to catch him as we only have hard games left.

Hawks...have PA and GC amongst their games...so I expect Buddy to add more than a few.

The road ahead is too hard for Milny to catch up, but what a great effort to get where he is !

Four against the Pies would be nice though.

Bill Young was a lightly built guy (similar to Gamble) and was fast on the lead and we kicked to him. In those days "set plays" were not in vogue.

After a year or so, when other teams got onto the "play," Bill quickly went backwards.

Well it looks like Buddy might be gone for next week and possibly the week after on another striking charge (something about Buddy and Tasmania eh?) and Jr. Riewoldt could well be quiet again given how Richmond are going so there is every chance Milney could strike in the last few rounds if he stays consistent. I reckon Cloke might pinch it though unfortunately.

you know he has a decent chance
three or four in each game left would see him get right up there

i think he is in with a decent sniff, but only if he kicks 3+ for the games left
