''If our team's going to rely on me kicking four or five goals every week, we're in trouble. The game's changed, it's not like that any more.

Re: Goals contributed
It's great to have a spread of mids contributing. NDS, Geary, Armo, Milera have all helped make us look a different attack. We actually have the old boys up to their old tricks but have added several new avenues. Well done to Scotty for finding a way that Ross never seemed able to.
Re: Goals contributed
How good is it.
Some still beating the drum to look at other forward options, but for mine, I reckon it's all operating very smoothly.
49 goals thus far, Roo and Kosi have only kicked 14 of em.
Holds us in good stead, far less predictable.

Milera 10
Dal Santo 9
Armitage 9
Montagna 6

Tonights game had 15 players that were Goal Contributors....the highest this season and reflecting the spread across the team.
Our 3 highest goal kickers average 2.14 goals per game this year so far. In 2011, this figure was 1.84 goals each per game.
The largest scoreboard impact has been points scored. After 7 rounds, Saints average 100 against a 2011 total of 85 points. Defence has increased marginally from 76 points to 79 points per game. Even though the number of games in 2012 is limited to provide comparison, the increase in forward output is vast.
