Dal Santo and Schnieder
Although there are many other more negative things i could be talking about right now I would just like to say that Dal Santo and Schieder are all class.
Both had fantastic games tonight. Schieds reminded me why he is such a fantastic player. Always does great things with the ball, a real thinking player, and rarely seems to turn the ball over.
Same goes with Dal, the spin out of that pack of Adelaide players (on our forward 50?) was magnificent, and that is why he finished 3rd in the brownlow last year.
Also these two seemed to be the only players i was confident could kick a goal when taking a shot. Very reliable.

Sainter for life.

The Schneiderman is one of the first picked. It is an absolute joke that people were deliberating if he could still get a game with our current team not long ago. Classy & smart with the football. Dal Santo was all class as usual.

What about Montagna... He owed us one and delivered big time tonight.

Love the schneids, one of those players where you just relax a little when he has it as you know he will use it well. And Dal has always been class, mr smooth operator

They stand out in the side because they have poise, use the ball well and create

Re: Dal Santo and Schnieder
Real shnieds fan.............. but he just needs to get that habit of giving away 50mtre penalties out of his game. Too often it costs us badly. Since that time he had a go at the umps a few seasons ago, surely he realises he doesn't need to give the umps a tiny little excuse to over penalise him? I noticed Scotty roll his eyes last night when the 50 mtre penalty given.
Schieds and Kosi can usually be guaranteed to give away a 50mtre every odd week.............. discipline needed boys IMHO

It was easy to forget how good schneider is when he was gone.
He is without doubt one of the cleverest, most aware footballers i've ever seen!
Beautiful clean skills too.

Our 3 best on Friday were Dal, Joey and Schneider. Dal's best game of the year I reckon. Just never gave up.

Re: Dal Santo and Schnieder
I recall RL identified that shutting down Dal was the key to defeating the Saints, he is our most creative and skillful player. Sniderman is probably close to Dal in Footy smarts and can really hurt an opposition.
For mine I would give Milney a rest and give Snides the forward pocket for a week or two
That being said I have often wondered if Snides should be given a shot in the backline, when there is a lot of small forward pressure, that's providing of course Saad and Millera continue to stand up.
