We're Back
Brief Synopsis of their first run today.
Webster.... Beefed up.
Pierce........Same
Wallace ( Yankee import ) huge man, very skilful. Handballs with both hands and guides the ball on to his left foot. Honestly if you didn't know different you would have thought he grew up playing the game.
Longer..... Big brute
Marksworth.... Looks like he hasn't missed a beat
Bruce....... Good size about him as well
Siposs....... Ran laps, and needs too
White..... Wrist still with the guard on but looks super fit
Carl Peterson..... Training with the boys

Re: We're Back
Assume you're implying Siposs has come back in not the best nick Tony. If that is correct it is extremely disappointing.

Re: We're Back
Is this a comment on the condition he returned in today?? Or his general physical attributes??tony74 wrote:Siposs....... Ran laps, and needs too
Because if it's the former, it's extremely dissapointing.
This kid has shown he has plenty of talent, and I know he was under the knife recently, but I was hoping this year would be when the switch gets flicked with Arryn, this would include him coming back from the off season ripped to shreds and ready to go.

Wasn't Siposs' surgery in early August? Plenty of time to get some miles into the legs, especially after having a shoulder op.St Chris wrote:Is this a comment on the condition he returned in today?? Or his general physical attributes??tony74 wrote:Siposs....... Ran laps, and needs too

Re: We're Back
Carl Peterson (born 3 July 1987) is an Australian rules footballer, who formerly played in the Australian Football League (AFL) with the Hawthorn Football Club.tony74 wrote:Brief Synopsis of their first run today.

Carl Peterson..... Training with the boys
Peterson was born in Meekatharra, Western Australia and moved to Kununurra when he was two, before moving to Perth to finish Year 12, where he trained and played football with the Clontarf Football Academy. He was then recruited by Claremont Football Club in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL).[1] He played five games for Claremont in 2006, including two finals.[2]
Peterson was originally drafted by Richmond in the 2006 AFL Draft. He was a fourth round pick, number 60 overall, but he was delisted by the Tigers at the end of the 2007 season without playing a game. Following this, he joined Northern Territory Football League (NTFL) club St Mary's and was in the Saints' 2007/08 premiership side. He was then redrafted into the AFL by Hawthorn with the 61st overall of the 2009 Rookie Draft.[3]
He made his AFL debut in the opening round of the 2010 AFL season and performed well, kicking a goal and gathering 15 disposals in the first half before copping a heavy knock early in the second half.[4] He played seventeen games for Hawthorn, all in 2010.
In 2012, Peterson signed to play for the Victorian Football League's Northern Blues.[5]
Would make an interesting selection perhaps a rookie pick ?
Did Delaney train today Tony74 ?

He was a gun Peterson. I watched the Hawks play one day with a mate and he'd only played a couple of games and this guy looked close to BOG in a side with all the Hawks stars in it. I can't remember why he left but he was not short on talent. He took some really strong grabs and used it like a surgeon. Exciting type.

Re: We're Back
Yep, got him confused with the North Melbourne import. My mistake. Delaney wasn't there. Sippa didn't look heavier or anything. He was just puffing and panting!! As was Peterson.stinger wrote:is wallace, holmes???tony74 wrote:Brief Synopsis of their first run today.

Most guys who are invited to train, do not get picked up.
