If we bring the same intensity tonight to next weeks game, then we should win.

Great effort by the boys, no one gave us a hope. We showed more guts and determination than both the Dogs and the Dees, we showed that we wont be push overs.

Agree.

Pressure on the ball carrier was superb, imagine when the kids can run out 4 quarters.

Well, as I have said from week one, that is the game plan. The question is whether this type of high intensity footy is the future or not. If it is, we may well be the first to take advantage of it. If it ain't, that is, it takes too great a toll over the year, then it won't be.

It's probably just the only option to remain competitive at the moment.

Good effort against from us all up.
I'm feeling very confident v the crows after tonight.

They are a rabble. If we continue with where we are we should win.

I said under 5 goals and we have done exceptionally well. They had me believing we could win for three quarters so very happy.

Step back a bit...weigh it all up. As President Bartlet said in West Wing Season 3 Ep 15 - "See the whole board".

I am very proud of the Saints tonight.
It was a terrific effort by a Saints team deep into re-building against a fully-developed side laced with stars on their home patch,
who had treated Melbourne with contempt at the G the week before, and who would have their eye on a top 4 finish.

Herculean defensive pressure by the Saints for almost 3 quarters. Not scared to take the game on. Running hard for
their mates and for the Coach. Ran out of steam and luck for a vital 15 minutes, but gained an absolute ton of RESPECT.

To anyone who hasn't bought a Saints membership yet in 2014...what's stopping you ?

Stanley was good tonight.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

It seems there is such a thing as an honourable loss.... good effort from the team last night.... I'll be tipping us against The Crows.

I'm loving the way Rooey is going about it...in my biased opinion, he is the best AFL Captain at the moment....leads by example and lifts our youngsters.
