Still no Tommy Lee! Maybe Gwilt will play forward again?

We're not playing a third tall forward this week?

The most inexperienced back half for many years. Hope they can hold it together

Savage has been poor in most areas, particularly chasing, tackling, manning up. That's tolerable when you're getting 40 possessions or kicking 4 goals a game, but not when you're averaging about 10 touches and none of them are having any influence on the game. He's in for a long spell at Sandy, I would say. With Schneider returning, Milera coming into some form, and Billings not far away, he's got some stiff competition. I have seen nothing from Savage to indicate he's been of any value so far. In fact, players like Murdoch and Dunell have more to offer going by his present form.

I thought that Eli Templeton may have needed a "rest" this week. He looked tired and out of place last week.

Lee, Milera and Simpkin can probably feel unlucky

A relatively short forward line (2 talls 4 smalls) with a fair bit of speed - I like it. Pump it in fast.

Yes , good point !

Perhaps the news that essendon players have had a virus , will see the saints trying to run rings around them .
Would really really really love this to be the case !

I like the versatility we have.
Bruce can have a run on Daniher but can also be a swingman and go fwd.
Schneider offers more than Beau with his footy smarts.
Billings cant do worse than Savage and Seb and Hickey are obvious like for like ins.

Given that Essendope are coming off a hot game at Subi and have been crook, we're clearly going to try and run the legs off them....

It will be even shorter when Stanley has ti ruck. I can't imagine Hickey spending much time forward.

We've added small, but we haven't added any real pace.
Hopefully we've added precision skill.
