Changes vs Hawthorn

Templeton out. Schneider in, not sold on Ross and Saunders either. Depending on Sandys game I think its time for Weller to come in to the side.

Saunders may need a spell at Sandy and I'm not sure we can have Ross and Dunstan in the same 22, neither provide enough run and spread. Schneider is obvious for Eli and maybe look at Milera or maybe if Acres has a blinder bring him in for a run

I'd bring Weller in. Big hard body, crash through some of these Dawks. Especially Ravioli and the sniper hodge

Yes I tend to agree if we were a legitimate chance to win. Bit harsh on Ross and given the horse has bolted in terms of winnable games I would probably leave Ross in for another game and perhaps also leave Fisher at Sandy for another week.

I thought Saunders was okay, been very good this year... he needs to keep playing IMO to build experience and confidence.

A loss might give Richo an excuse to rest some players (he seems to want to make minimal changes if we win to reward players for doing the right things)
Maybe give Dunstan, Billings a rest. Savage might get dropped as punishment for poor discipline (and not playing very well anyway). Reward Weller with an upgrade and go in the firsts. See who plays well in the seconds and really wants it.

Out: Templeton(inj), Riewoldt (rest), Savage, Saunders
In: Fisher, Schneider, Lee, Weller

We miss a big experienced key position backman and have leaked goals like a sieve since Fisher became unavailable last season. Schneider - we desperately need a second reliable forward marking option, who is also good at ground level, since the failure of Beau and Stanley in that role. His experience is also great for the youth to learn from. Lee - again, we need a tall option up forward and Number 12 desparately needs a rest, and Lee has earned his place at Sandy with good performances.
Weller - if he can be upgraded, now would be a good time to give him a go with Armitage out for another week.

ross and dunstan had 38 possessions between them....give them a break......they were not the reason we lost....

Before we bring Weller in, can somebody confirm if he has been elevated off the rookie list?
No sense picking Weller if he is unavailable for selection.
Schneider for Eli, then wait to see who puts there hsnd up st Sandy.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Saunders was not able to have a huge impact as a defensive forward on a mini ground. Ross went okay I thought with out being outstanding. I would like to see Lee in but I'm not sure for who and Milera would add some dash for Eli. Fisher has hardly played for over a year I would think a few weeks of VFL would be more sensible than getting him back unfit. You don't want him to break down again.

He can be if they want - there's a free spot because Wright has gone onto the LTI list.

Is Weller better than Savage.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I was at the game, when we lost possession and they took off the other way Seb was left for dead, in the first half there were at least half a dozen times when he just couldn't keep up. His in and under stuff is good but he hasn't developed a tank as yet and he is super slow

Out
Eli
Savage

In
Weller
Acres

Schnieder cost us the game this week he can take a hike.
Give boys a taste.
Put faith in saunders hes been great.
Weller could almost sue the saints if we didnt put him in FFS.
Acres already mastered VFL speed lets put him in. He can really play 190cm with skill time and poise.

I would seriously hope the Saints at Sandy really put their hands up for senior selection. It will be good to see who rises to the occasion.

Richo has actually got allot to choose from this week

He might be tempted to pick a couple of young 'uns' to play against the hawks .
See if they can match it .

I'll be looking forward to see if we can rise to the occassion and preform better than we did against the lions .
