Stocking up on key position players. Midfielders to come next year. The spreadsheet strategy evolves!

What those picks do ensure is we finish bottom the next 2 years but maybe pick up very quickly after that. Very risky picks. Huge gambles that may pay off. Worth it after 140 years of failure.

Could have gone top 10 GWS went for Marchbank.
Great pick up.

They hesitated not expecting him to still be available.
Lets nail this next pick they have had time to recheck.

to be honest we were always going to anyway.
and we have picked up a raw midfielder to round it off.

does anybody think we'll redraft Saad or Schneider?

Schneider is being picked up in the rookie draft. I hope we pass on Saad. And yes we were going to finish last next year but I think the year after is also know certain.

especially if Riewoldt and Montagna, along with Fisher and maybe Dempster all retire at the end of next year. Think Riewoldt might stick around for two more years, but the others would finish up at the end of next season, you'd think.

Delighted to see him slide to us. Wasn't expecting it.

Went so close to getting Laverde and Goddard - what a steal that would have been.
