Surely people don't pay $32 for level 3? Tell me that's an April fools day joke.

Think that those prices are for reserved seats. Sure I read somewhere that General Admission is locked at $25. Lazy reporting to suggest that most of L3 will be $32.

Worse, try $40.00

This is from the ticketmaster site for our Rd 1 game vs GWS, i've checked the Essendon game and it's the same.

The more annoying thing is that as a general admission member I can not longer sit anywhere on level 3 within the first 6 rows as it is reserved all the way around. I know the answer is to upgrade to a reserved seat but I like the flexibility of being able to have different people accompany me and I don't mind getting there early to secure a level 3 seat in the first or second row.

Im confused. If level 3 is $32 then where is general admission? Do you have to sit in the locker room. Obviously it means most of level 3 is $25 surely.

I assume the first six rows are reserved seating all the way around level 3. The rest is $25.

Ok that makes sense. So most of level 3 is the normal price. Doesn't see to have changed to me.

Attending with a non-member?

General admission members have the flexibility to attend a game with friends that are Saints fans but not members, or who may be supporters of the opposition. General admission entry allows you to access the stadium and find available seating on Level 3. If choosing to upgrade to a reserved seat for a game, additional tickets can also be purchased to sit together. There is a reduced price provided to members with entry entitlement when upgrading to a reserved seat.

It's about time they introduce dynamic pricing for the footy like the airlines have used for well over a decade. The NRL state of origin game at the G is also dynamically priced.

You start prices for reserved seats at a certain level, then they increase at several price points as they sell. It's simple supply and demand. If it's not a popular game, you have a huge number of seats at the cheapest rate available - the more popular games less of those seats then gradually up goes the price. Works very well and is market driven.
