I agree. What the hell has he achieved to deserve another go next year? Firstly it was a s*** decision to give Hardwick a 2 year extension and secondly I think he's very lucky that he's still there.

Very poor on field leadership at Richmond. I like Cotchin as a person but he's either got to get a better leadership group supporting him or he's got to become a stronger leader himself.

All those premeirships from the 60's up until 1980 have helped them with a massive supporter base but give them another 10 years of underperformance and let's see them hold on to their 70K members.

Ssh guys! Let them think their deluded crap. Tigers for top four next year. Pass it on. If we can get them to believe the current regime is on the ball, we should see them down the bottom for another decade. Oh what fun Schadenfreude is! :D

Interested that Caro thinks that Roos will be coaching a side in 2018.
She has a massive crush on Roos.
But who might it be?
Tigers? Pies?

Yeah, the supercoach who on a multi-million dollar salary over three years took his team
from seventeenth to ... eleventh.

How could anyone look past him?

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-09-15/t ... placements
RICHMOND has met with former Western Bulldogs assistant coach Brett Montgomery as it searches for up to five replacements for Damien Hardwick's support team.

Montgomery, who left the Whitten Oval last month after his contract was not renewed, is also on a shortlist of candidates the Brisbane Lions are compiling for their senior vacancy before interviews start.

The Tigers have held recent talks with Montgomery, but AFL.com.au understands the 43-year-old will still be an applicant for the Lions' position.

Assistant coach Blake Caracella, who will leave Geelong at the end this season, has also met with the Tigers, whose new football manager Neil Balme will start on Monday.

Richmond chose not to renew the contracts of Ross Smith, Greg Mellor and premiership coach Mark Williams last month and is yet to confirm what role Mark P Williams will have at the club in 2017.

Midfield stoppages coach Brendon Lade was offered a one-year contract but could yet move to Port Adelaide, where he will be interviewed.

clean slate at Tigers - almost
RICHMOND is now searching for up to five new assistant coaches after midfield stoppages coach Brendon Lade accepted a role with his former club Port Adelaide.

Lade, who was interviewed in Adelaide this week and accepted a long-term deal, joins fellow assistants Greg Mellor, Ross Smith and premiership coach Mark Williams in heading for the exit at Punt Road.

The future of Mark P. Williams is also unclear, with the Tigers yet to confirm what role he will play at the club in 2017.

The departures leave the highly rated Ben Rutten as Hardwick's only remaining assistant coach, with development coaches Ryan Ferguson and Andrew McQualter also still at the club.

Can't believe Melbourne pushed McCartney aside for Egan.

Maybe Macca isn't such a red hot developer after all.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
