Ok. I am only the messenger here. I am merely reporting a rumour that is doing the rounds on the twittersphere.

I also make no comment on the source who many here think is not that credible.

I am merely sharing it because I know we all love a bit of gossip. Especially this time of year.

The Giants are said to have made a formal offer to Fremantle for Fyfe. They are offering J. Patton plus picks 7 and 31 and a lower pick.

If it's true it's a bloody interesting proposition. Would Feo go for it? Would Fyfe want to play for the Giants? Would Patton want to go to Freo?

Indeed, and if anyone wants to re-post that flogs material they should clearly label it as from the Afl trade whisperer as he has no credibility.

And if Fyfe were to play for the Giants he would need to forgo about half of what he would earn else were and I cannot see that. Not to mention the huge extra money he would no doubt make in Perth, that he would not get anywhere near in Sydney.
