I have found skeptic to be respectful, even when we have vehemently disagreed. He/she/gt is able discuss the point, rather than getting personal. It's an attribute that is becoming more and more scarce.
I don't believe that this attack on him is warranted.

The negatives? The hangover I was nursing this morning after spending the night celebrating at The Cricketers post-match!!! I'm giving the turps a wee rest for a day or two.... let my 74 year old (and somewhat battered) liver recover!!
