Well that's a relief because it wasn't funny nor a surprise that Richo scored himself a role at another club. His coaching experience is obviously more respected by the AFL sanctum than it is from the keyboard circles.

That should not be too hard. His treatment from a fair percentage of posters here was disgraceful.

I do not believe coaching was the biggest problem at StK in 2018 and some of 2019.

This just cracks me up - A club in the middle of a monumental rebuild ‘fail’ just hired the coach recently sacked for ‘failing’ a re-build to mentor/direct/do sweet F*** all for the said club in the midst of a failed re-build. And which genius thought up this pearler of an idea. This afl coaching merrygo round for struggling clubs would be such a laughing stock from any high performing organisation point of view!

Agreed. This forum has a short memory.

The majority on here turned on Watters only in his second season, yet it Richo until his 5th season to attract the same kind of scrutiny. Admittedly, it wasn’t Richo’s fault that this debacle of a contract extension occurred. But, he was also joining the admin in beating his chest in front of the cameras, saying that we’ve done our time and on the way up.

A good assistant, but his strength is not as a senior coach.
