Re: Milney must annouce his retirement soon

Well, my opinion is I think SainterK and Con G's comments have lot of merit. Can I add, I take it that the Saints Board's decision means that any afl player charged with a criminal offence will now be suspended in like manner.....or worse, have his tenure terminated? Is this what it means? Is it the...

Re: I have read some rubbish before but

Agree with P66 sentiment but would like to add my obs that goddard, over last 2 years, played with same lack of sparkle as the Saints did on the weekend. Lack of sparklde, listleness, call it whatever but the boys appear to be just going through the motions, as professionals. Enter goddard to essend...

Re: Kosi

Kosi is a legend. For god's sake put the big fella back in the back line. We've played with undersized backs for that long now and we've had Kosi struggling to get into the game consistantly up forward. He was a marvel in the back line where he first made his name, so they whacked him in the forward...

Let's not get too excited trendsetters.....Blind Freddy can see the big feller is simply trying too hard. It's there for all to see, it's plain as day. He is also injured, as are 90% of AFL players at this stage of the season carrying something.....how much it's holding Roo back we wouldn't know, bu...

Certainly putting pressure on ourselves by kicking back to the back line to launch our attacks, balls like a greasy pig, Suns press up, we turn ball over in crap conditions and we're playing into their hands I'd think

Geez I hope you blokes don't let it go at this.......this is great stuff. Better than footy season raves. You should have your own segment on SEN or JJJ, Fid could host the panel. Ha...lol SEN would be better 'cos you could talk a bit of footy too. Or better still, Sly of the Underpants could do dai...

Boys just buggered

Flat as a tack most of the guys......four really tough games where each team's stuck it to 'em and they've fought back and toughed it out, ground out great / briliant wins. In hindsight perhaps could have brought in a couple of extra guys from the 2's but how do you rest / drop players from winning ...

It's been my opinion for past 8 years that Kozzies best position is CHB, so why not ffs play him there....swap him with Zac, what's to lose? Got a natural backman playing FF and natural forward playing FB.......for what it's worth

......yep Melbourne, and he was up against Graeme Wise, who was going to be the next big thing, ruckman the Dees had recruited from Tassie. Whereas Carl was completely unheralded. That famous photo of Carl parked on top of opposing ruckman's left shoulder at a boundary throw in, depicted what happen...

Bally's countenance on the field in rd 20 was that of a fellow without confidence...looked a bit "out of it" like he didn't fit in or he feels he doesn't fit in....then I suppose a few of the boys might have been the same. I love Bally, he can't not be in the team that wins a flag. Its all...

Spot on, Milan F............wouldn't the Club have done so much better with healthier personnel back then!!!! Remember the mishandling of Kossie and his injuries in his second year? I could be wrong but hadnt Kozzie and Roo played together only 20 times in 5 seasons? Injuries. And everyone in AFL wa...

This is by far and away the best Saints team I have ever seen....and I was at the '66 GF. We have had more "stars" in some of our good teams over the years, but as a team, no team has ever played as well as this. That '78 team was close but this team is perhaps the best footy team, Saints ...
