Yes, when you consider our much easier draw than in 2006, making an EF once again would have flattered our performance. In rounds 21-22 last season, we were guaranteed a place in the 8 and were still an outside chance of making the top 4. Truth to tell, this season we lost to, or struggled to beat,...

also, remember our draw this year gave us 17 melbourne matches compared to 15 last year, plus we had about 6 6 day breaks vs. 11 I think last year!

I actually hate Adelaide more than I hate Collingwood. I wont say its easy for me to say Go Pies today, but its a hell of alot EASIER than if we needed the Crows to win... it's much easier than being stuck down the bottom aka melbourne, carlton and richmond playing half a tanking season for draft p...

I was in Seattle (far north west of America) when Princess Di died - it was live breaking news there also!)....wasn't aware it was the same time as our last round match, but did make it back for the Brissie game at Waverley (1st vs 8th under the old final 8 system!)

Quick Dimwit look the other way, pretend it has nothing to do with you and tell us how good the AFL drug testing regime is. Look, in Dimwit's defence, he seriously has no clue what he's doing so why change a drug policy if you have no idea what to change it to?? If you were in his shoes, you...

Get a clue Ross, stop being a Dunce!! CJ is disposal skills more likely to be seen at Yoralla than the AFL! Fair Dinkum, are you serious?? Sure, Thommo is not the same player as he was a few years back, but he has some consistent VFL form from reports and 70 minutes of Thommo is surely better than 1...

I was in primary school in the 70's, don't think it even existed back then.

Hopefully my daughters will play little league for the saints when they're old enough.

Either first strike and your out or just allow drug use!

This whole Ivanhoe rehab/Dylan Howard debacle makes me think the AFL have just two options re drug policy: (1) First Strike and player gets named and suspended, harsh penalties from then on. (2) Just allow drug use willy-nilly. The three strike policy is a farce. Dimwit, fall on your sword and admit...

well I think we ditched the Wakelins as they didn't benchmark up to the top standard required to win a flag....that's how it was all done back then...all positions were benchmarked against the best side/sides in the comp..... I always liked both of them, and as for Skinny I was spewing we got rid of...

crap OWTS. What do you mean "we have nothing to gain" buy losing to Richmond? We could move up 4 spots in draft (subject to other results going our way) that's what's to gain! Big deal if we lose, it only 1 loss. So, if Adelaide win, for the sake for only 1 extra loss we can maybe get a be...

agree Ric, now that the underhanded GT is gone we are much better for it.....if we do make the finals, I just want us at worst to make it to week 2 - so that the record books say we've finished higher than in 2006.....BUT given our better draw this year, I estimate to be worth 8 points (2 games) ove...

Surely the players on the field would still give it there all. Id find it disgusting as a supporter if a player on the field wouldn't be giving it there all, just for draft picks for next year. first of all the blues and the dees can select very weak teams. secondly, they can both go very soft at t...
