OK! BUT! No-ones given any explanation as to WHY club has re-newed his contract recently if weren't happy. Surely if things not going well would quickly back out?

Thought we'd just given him a 12 month contract - why would club have done this if his attitude was poor or he was injured again

Totally agree with comments about Cripps - would have been a champion. But you really can't go past Brian Gleeson - win the Brownlow & never play again - was devastating! Bill Stephenson was another cut down in his prime just when we were on the verge of something special.

Was devastated when we left the Junction Oval, was devastated when we went to Waverley, was devastated when we went to Docklands.
