I think the club will do a trade, last year we traded a 2nd rnd pick for Farren Ray and I think we will do the same again this year. The club will keep the 1st Rnd pick, but with the possibility of a shallow draft and us finishing higher than last year I think Ross and Drain will attempt a trade for...

Who Cares. Why didn't he mention the last time Grant was sacked? Grant was sacked from The Age for his constant, hysterical carping about Caroline Wilson being a liar and manufacturing the truth in her articles. So what did The Age do to protect thier chief football writer? They sacked Thomas. Now G...

New timeslot. Saturday Twilight.

The best time slot for the club is on Saturday night @ ES, we have such a good record at the time, it is prime time for TV & Sponsors and the best time for people to get to the game after doing all the saturday chores. But next year, the AFL will try new time slots as to test the times as the le...

New Sponsor?

I just noticed after watching a replay that we have a new sponsor on the ball. It wasn't there in round one.

St George Bank. It's a mainly a NSW bank and they sponsor a NRL team called St George Illawarra.

ISC in administration

Has any body seen this? The company that makes St Kilda's gear is now in administration and could be out of business. I hope this means the club does not lose out financially as it looks like trouble for a lot of sporting clubs. http://www.stuff.co.nz/4841409a1823.html NZRL loses its shirt as compan...

This is a major wake up for the club in everyway. Have a look at the style / brand of football we were playing up until probably round 22 this year. It was horrible, just go back in the forums to see how many fans were complaining. Winning isn't everything either, when Sydney were winning everybody ...

Re: Now that trade week is over...

Great stuff, but take the lead from Ross. He has said several times we will try to get some mid field speed into the lineup in the draft. Probably with the first 3 picks, but I hope we pick up a key defensive player like Zach though. I think we should go for these players in the draft. After reading...

The 3 way I see is that we offer our number 1 pick to Swans for O'Keefe, sure No. 1 is very high but we may get something else from sydney like their no. 2 pick. The Swans will then have 2 first rounders to offer WCE, the 2 top 10 picks is simply an ambit claim, so WCE trade Kerr to Sydney for 2 fir...

Banners hanging from TD

Did anyone see the Brad Johnson 300th game? The doggies hung banners from the TD rafters of EJ, Christ Grant, Scott west and BJ. These are a great idea and I think it is somthing we should think of doing at our home games. I'll start off, Barry Breen, Baldock, Nathan Burke, S Loewe, I Stewart and of...

Re: Mitcham FC winding up !!

It appears that there will be a meeting later this week to wind up the Mitcham Footy Club. I think they are/were one of the foundation clubs in the Eastern District Footy League. It is a real shame when any footy club folds and this is no exception !! It is, but a lot of this is due to their own ch...

I doubt if any company is going to sponsor anybody 3mill for 3 years, let alone a club that hasn't even come close to a premiership.

The Mayor of Frankston said according to his information on SEN that the Saints are going to incorporate the pokies into a hotel/pub setup, similer to what the Pies, Hawks have now.

I don't think the pokies were ever going to be allowed to be incorporated the Moorabbin setup.

St Kilda played Geelong in a heritage round 2 years ago where we wore our 1960's jumper.

It was basically what it is today except it had a white back. This is what Collingwood has done, just change the back to white. This is what we should do, have the tri-colours in the front but have a white back.

Reports like these from our other supporter groups clarifies a lot of mis-understanding from supporters.

There was the Caroline Wilson line in your report, what was specifically leaked?
