Whelan's bump was rough but fair. Stop whinging. Fair? How so? He got him in the head. Ball went off and had brain bruising due to the impact. Whelan chose to bump Ball. He also chose to leave the ground. He knew that the consequences could result in injury - and they did. Based on the fact that Ba...

We either want him to get off, or get 2.

If they win on Friday night and we get over the Tigers we may play them in Week 1.

In fairness to the 'inflexible' comments regarding Lyon's coaching, he has to be 'inflexible'. When a team is learning to play a certain style, you simply have to stick to it. Time and time again. Over and over again. If it doesn't appear to be working, you shouldn't panic and change tact for a shor...

Re: List this, list that....

Huh?? Bally can't run. He was given to Ross injured in an injured state. Hopefully the surgery he is about to have will at least partially relieve this long running issue. X is cactus still. He was given to Ross injured in an injured state. Max can't get on the park. He was given to Ross injured in...

Re: List this, list that....

I think the consensus is that our list is pretty good...but that it has some glaring deficiencies IF we want to be the No1 team. Let me repeat that...IF we want to be the No 1. Team This is partly my point - being the No. 1 Team does not coincide with having the best list. I don't believe, with the...

Do we need a 'par' ruckman that badly?

I'd give a fair bit for Lade or Cox, but they can keep the rest.

Our list isn't terrible. We are just weak in some area's that team's now captilise against us on. I guess that's my point - are they capitalising on our list deficiencies? Or on the fact that key players are out injured? Or are they capitalising on the fact that we miss important goals? I don't thi...

List this, list that....

Why are we suddenly deciding that our list is terrible? Last year all we needed was a decent coach, as our list was so good it coached itself to the top 6. Now, I think we all agree that this was nonsense. Our list isn't the best in the comp (as I've said for a while), but surely people are starting...

Re: A few thoughts....post Weagles Game

WC of last year playing that well would have pumped us by 10 goals..... On the plus side...the last few weeks have shown that the players are finally mastering playing the defensive game properly when the opposition has the ball. This bodes well for the future.....and while we can still possibly ma...

Re: We all have decisions to make.

I will be amazed if the STKFC board took this to court. We got a match result reversed and this yellow gutless spineless dimwitted arselickers wouldn't take it to court. Why would they want to 1) clear a players name? 2) protect the integrity of the club? Happy to take our coin every year. Happier ...

How good ure sauce Joff? A players father (not JK). Said Kossi wants to negotiate but the club wont until end of season. I made up the bit about trading him so MoronDunne would come out of hiding  Good enough for you Teffers  supa stuff JB - that'll do me... Did ya get the moray eel out...

So, Rogerfox, if you were in Lyon's shoes would you be instructing that Kosi is a required player and must be retained under all circumstances? Absolutely. No doubt the coach will get what he wants. I should think so. The coach will be saying "required player", so the Administration must ...

Now that may sound quite negative, and perhaps it is. But, surely it has to be the coach that dictates to the club who is on his list??? Surely. The coach has to give the club a list of 'must have's', and list of 'want to have's' and a list of 'meh's'. Apparently the previous coach has stated publi...

I raised this when Dal and Roo were signed, and funnily enough was shouted down for it, but..... .....when we were back slapping the Board for signing those two, did any of us know how much we paid them to stay? It's not that simple Joffa - by admitting to blocking a player, is to not admit to causing unreasonable contact. Baker merely entered into Farmer's path - as a defender, to cut his run into a wide open F50 area. In taking this action - Farmer has not seen him ( or maybe he did!!) and cannoned into ...

Hypothetically, if Baker had have been concussed in the collision - do you think Farmer should/would have been suspended?

On the Fence (ala "sore balls"). None of your highlighted text is relevant to Baker's case. There is NO EVIDENCE to indicate that Baker, in applying his block, could and should have reasonably foreseen that his head would have made contact with Farmer's head and cause the damage that it u...

Why 'obviously'?
Well they wouldn't take it to the tribunal if any of the afl's "reliable" witnesses had said there was nothing in it.
Wouldn't they?

farmer has done him in......... They leant that way on the news, but in a way his 'evidence' backs up what Baker has said. Farmer says he didn't see anyone in his path. If he did infact see someone in his path, it's unlikely he would have slammed into him. So really, although it sounds bad for Bake...

well if the tribunal finds him guilty and he is guilty so be it. I agree. If you do the crime, then I hve no issue with doing the time. The problem is that I don't believe we've done the crimes in the past, whilst other clubs have yet haven't done the time. Baker's kicking suspension, and the unbel...
