This was posted on another thread but I think it should also be here.

It's from bigfooty and gives a pretty good run down on just about everyone who is a possibility of being drafted in this years National Draft.

Is it rose coloured glasses Saint Mik? I thought you identified some areas the club was lacking in. I take it you think those areas were not addressed or you are not happy with how they are being addressed. Sounds like the club has had a fair crack at endeavouring to address these issues. I don't th...

Not wanting to get in between this beautiful thing you and Saint Mik have going but your last line made me curious. How do you come to this conclusion?

Looks like LilFLiP41 wet the bed a couple of times through the night and had to post a couple of messages while Mummy changed the sheets.

Pity you can't super impose a new groin on the Million Dollar Baby.

Funny you metnioned casinos because I went to my local casino here in Switzerland the other day "Zurich?" "Not any more" Really? I'm told the casino's in Switzerland aren't that great, I'm going to one in France... "Toulouse?" "I hope not." TISH TISH BOOM! Ah...

As I'm sure you're more than aware Dan, ethics are not black and white issues, and neither is the use of drugs in sport. Just surprised at you trying to reduce it down so simplistically. It ain't so. Not that I have said so, but yeah I'd be well pleased to get Benny over here to play for us. People...

I don't know why we would need to be separated into tiers OWTS and classified as to our status, surely we are all just simply supporters sponsoring a player. In terms of whatever priveleges come with sponsoring a player, B&F tickets or club apparell, then isn't each share worthy of a raffle tick...

We will have to do something in Ireland, it is folly to allow these other clubs access to what is becoming a boom recruiting ground that gets special AFL compensation in terms of list management and development.

I believe the 1st List Lodgement is the 31st of October and the final one on the 30th of November, prior to the PSD on the 11th of December.

Interesting if true about McQualter as it may mean that a delisted player from another team has sparked some interest.

Perhaps once we decide on the player which will give us the amount we require, we can then open it up to pledges and once that amount is reached, a reserve list of potential sponsors can be started in case an original pledge does not eventuate by an agreed cut off date. Another thing, I will probabl...

Can we have a sponsorship night, apologies markinUSA and others who may be country or interstate, at the Waterside with hopefully a photo op of the player and the group?

Or would that be asking too much of the player?

I'm envious of anyone who's played one game of AFL, unfortunately we cannot all be good at what we wish to be and try our best at what we can be.

I believe Wes was a better player (not much though) before he found the weights room and the mirror. Then became the original "Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" player. I wish I could take credit for that but they are the thoughts of one of my best mates, a very proud Collingwood support...

Received a PM, cheers. Perhaps if that was more widely known (including the drug type) and Port had been severely embarrassed by it's players or one particular recurring player then it would be. I think the cost to the club, especially without a guarantee (i.e. Just because he plays for us would mea...

If we won a flag with Cousins, and he tested clean all next year, then it would be a flag not tainted one iota. BTW - nobody says Port's 2004 flag was tainted, do they? Fair call. Apologies, what am I missing here? Port's 2004 flag? Who am I forgetting that was in that side that may have had a ? ov...

Wes Fellowes won their Copeland Trophy.

McCallister bankrupted them.

They have so much respect for their sacred ground they left it in squalor and moved to the working class suburb of Lexus, pronounced East Melbourne.

Their marketing department have some 'special' items for fans.

well if he did come to our club and was instrumental in us winning a flag next year would you eat your words?? IMO (and I might be off the mark a bit with this statement), winning the flag = very forking good for our brand, even with a Benny on board! Sorry if that last comment sounds like Martian ...

Maybe it is just me and I'll confess I've never seen him play but I have this nagging feeling that this Selwood may just be the Dean Waugh of the Selwood Dynasty.

I hope for him (especially if we draft him) that he's not.

Hope you're right Animal, from the profiles I've read Masten would be about the only one to sway me from Rance...I'm a little torn in what we actually need more. Masten sounds like a gun, just the type of player needed to step from the great man's shadow and relieve some of the pressure that will co...

Interesting delistings by the Shockers, I wonder if that would alter our draft strategy, for example:

Pick 9 used for Rance
Pick 42 now for Collard
Pick 58 for a ruckman

Leaving us a PSD pick, possibly for Dunn.

Excues my ignorance but if a club retains a rookie for a 2nd year can that rookie still nominate or be selected during the National Draft which accorhing to the time line at the top of this thread is after the nominations for 2nd year rookies? How does the sponsorship of a player work? Do we get a choice or are we limited by the sponsorship price placed on a player's head?

It would be nice to be the sponsor of a player like Gilbert, Allen, Armitage or Geary.

I imagine the rest may be out of reach, possibly even the Grape Gilbert.
