Jarryn Geary James Wall and Robert Eddy are all going to be delisted. this may have changed since the trading period but that was the talk around the club. Why would they make him an emergency in the final match of H&A and then delist him?? It doesn't make any sense. Agree...baffling and disapp...

Re: For those bagging picking up King...

Hudson?? King for free is clearly better. The trade was - Hudson, Pick 43 for Pick 30, Pick 38 Hudson has 3-4 years left and is in the top 6 ruckmen in the competition. He is good in ruck contests and is very good around the ground. But, King is at St Kilda in 2008 and nothing anyone says on here c...

Ebert sounds like the package but my concern revolves aroung his stated love of Port and a desire to play there. Would probably go for:

Rance
Palmer
Masten
Ebert
Rioli

in that order.

I'm assuming Kreuzer, Morton, Cotchin are 1, 2 and 3 so none of the above may be available.

Re: Playfair V Gardiner (Charlie)

In terms of his delivery he couldn't hit a cow's ass with a banjo but he has a great leap and he'd be quick to snuff out leads. A new role may be exactly what he needs to jump start his career. If I were Ross I'd hand him straight over to Silvagni to see what he can do with him.[/quote] I think we'v...

There comes a time in a man's life when he must move on from the Kylie Swimsuit Calendars as there a bigger, better and bolder calendars to hang on the wall.

Whipping Boys - 2008

If the delistings are true, that will really shake up the Whipping Boys 2008 Calendar! We, as all footy club supporters, seem to take great delight in picking a chosen few and blaming them for all things ailing our club and regardless of evidence to the contrary will be the sole reason we didn't go ...

I heard it too and it was definately tongue in cheek, it was more about them trying to get that senile, AFL loving Yoda, KB to agree that the system is flawed when sides get rewarded for failing to try to win. Of course the senile one wouldn't listen, as per usual, and kept trying to turn it back on...

Until I see more from Armitage, Allen, Geary and DP #9 and Baker returns from suspension...No, I'm not kidding.

People don't rate Baker? I rate him, just looking at the first quarter of the season. Also rate: Emerg: Allen, Armitage, Geary I'd doubt that Goddard will contribute much for the first bit if we're wary about bringing him back early - most advocate 12months for a full reconstruction. That's a fair ...

So if we elevate two rookies, (Geary / Eddy for example)

We will still need to chop two, is this correct? Chop 3 if we wish to take part in the PSD (one pick)?

And that worrys me, I don't want our 2nd and 3rd picks in the draft to be something like 58 and 74 or worse. In the wash up I think we should try to do what is best short term without ruling us out of developing a longer term strategy...it is a very fine balancing act I know. Our best in the short t...

The Wash Up...

The way I see it, we no longer have a second round pick yet still need to take 3 picks in this years draft, so my belief is that pick 42 becomes very important for us and even though people are saying it is not a strong draft I still believe there will be some quality available... It would be nice t...

I know Fraser's retired but aren't you missing another B&F Top 10 player? (Besides Joey)

FWIW, an uninterupted pre-season by Raph should see him in our best 22

If we do get Schneider, which will help with midfield rotations as well as the forward line, add Geary and Armitage, does this mean Pick 9 may be used for a big defender instead of a midfielder or will we still go with a mid?
