the great George Young Exactly how many of us think of him. Not many players have this accolade attached. My earliest, fondest moments of the Saints were George Young. At the time it seemed he could do anything up forward. Kicked some nice bags for us. I was at Moorabbin when he kicked 8 against the...

I will never forget Brownlow night. My other side won the flag that year and we spent all day in the Boundary Hotel. After Plugger won the brownlow I drove to Moorabbin ( very very stupid as the Boundary had a cop shop opposite it) Went inside the Social club and there was about 50 people there and...

Can't believe how many were in the Robert Harvey room which is meant to be for social club mambers with reserve. seating. At one stage a group of 6 walked in. Even if they booked seats on level 2 how do they manage to get into our room.

True, our bottom six is better than last year. Unfortunately, though, with the exception of Dal, our top six hasn't been anywhere near as good as last year: Roo: probably his worst ever season. BJ: Struggled with mental demons early and yet to recapture '10 finals form. Monty: Still racking them up...

Re: Derryn Hinch vs. the Saints

In an incoherent rant in The Age , the Human Headline, who's already proved himself to be no friend of the Saints, claims he barracked for the Saints when he first came to Melbourne only to give them away in favour of the Demons (before giving them away as well). http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/ba...

He also quotes 'Sheeds' as saying STK were animals. Sheedy didn't join Essendon until 1981. I'm studying to be a proofreader and with columns like this, I will be a rich man, VERY quickly. I think you will find that Robbie Muir DID NOT play in that game http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/players/R/...

Not necessarily to their own place. Put it this way, they didn't hang around Moorabbin all day. Now they have to be at Seaford all day doing SFA.[/quote]

Try a bit of goal kicking practice if they have SFA to do all day
