The picture Seaford painted in my head was of a nice, slightly upper class bayside suburb, then I ventured into the housing market and saw it... Wowee, that suburb would have to be the worst outer suburb in Melbourne. If it wasn't bayside you might as well burn it down. I got flash backs of some of th...

For comparison the longest trip for Victorian Based clubs would supposedly be Geelong- and some players do live in Melbourne- I have just taken Port Melbourne as a ;point for referance- and knew that some Saints had lived in that area. Port melbourne - Skilled Stadium 1 hour 8 mins Princes Fwy 73.6...

No-one goes there anymore? Do you know where Carlton is? Have you ever been to Carlton? I reckon more people would use the public toilets around the Princes' Park running track in an hour than go to Frankston in a day. I'm talking specifically about Visy when I say no-one goes there. It's a Heritag...

ask me this: you're an AFL star ChicagoSaint where would you rather train mate You may not see Seaford as an issue but a couple of assistant coaches, the list manager, staff in the marketing and membership departments, along with a few top 10 senior StK players DO have an issue with the move to Sea...

1. visy is a d-u-m-p. the grandstands are a throwback to a bygone era. in terms of the whole complex it is bound by heritage listing. visy will not ever be an elite facility. Carlton haven't played a game there since, what, 2005?! Therefore, what do the bloody grandstands have to do with the traini...

I'm anti-Moorabbin in the shape it's in now. TBH I can't wait till we move out of that dump. This sums me up too. I don't care where we move to, as long as we have first class facilities, and the new Seaford training base will be a vast improvement on Moorabbin even if it is in a less desirable loc...

Once everyone has their new training ground, sadly ours will still probably be bottom four. Why do you say this? Our new facilities look impressive, what's wrong with them? I've read on here that, cost of the land aside, our facility itself will be the cheapest of all the new training centres. Gene...

No chance of Travis dropping his dad as manager. He seems like the biggest mummy's (daddy's) boy ever. Still lives at home I remember reading recently. His pay cheques would go straight into his dad's account. Have met the family on a few occaisions (my friends' family is like a 2nd family to them)...

Now how many ppl if I told you ten years ago would have thought that St Kilda would own the best facility in the AFL? You're telling me now and I still don't believe you. Once everyone has their new training ground, sadly ours will still probably be bottom four. As long as we have all the necessiti...

Re: New Linen House facility in Seaford - update and video
http://www.saints.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/5315/newsid/104086/default.aspx Maybe I'm easily pleased, but it all seems great inside, and the building itself looks modern with a suitable colour scheme. Not sure how much you can glean from the facility by looking at that video other than, as you ...

Does look good. Has a bit of Greg Broughton about him.#1GILL wrote:Wow, how clean does Simpkin look in that video?
If he can bring that to AFL level he could be a jet.
Highlight videos are always dangerous though - I could make Clint Jones look like an accurate kick of a football in a two-minute package.

Hope people are right with Miles but I cannot see it. If it wasnt for playing the last 2 games i doubt he would be at the club next year as his form at Sandy wasnt great. He can run but i really worry about his disposal under pressure. Like i said though happy to be proved wrong. I'm leaning toward...

Luke Ball = Care Factor 0 Different opinion from me totally. I like the bloke. Always have. I could never understand the decision and undue force for him to change his game style at St. Kilda given what he did for us was what Collingwood needed too. I honestly believe he is one of the players we ha...
